verb [ trans. ]
(be pixelated) (of an image on a computer screen or other display) be enlarged so far that the viewer sees the individual pixels that form the image, the enlargement having reached the point at which no further detail can be resolved.
After changing my header’s background image a while back from a smooth glow to a pixelated, Super Mario-esque, style, I decided I liked it and wanted to see more of this style used around the site.
I, like some of you may have seen Shaun Inman’s personal site; it is a brilliantly simple piece of design that promote’s his skills and products very effectively. It is almost solely due to Shaun’s site that the current (at time of writing: July 15th 2009) site looks the way it does.
I plan on enhancing the site’s design in an ever-evolving fashion, to utilise and promote new jQuery plugins and further my webdev skills.
So, all that’s left to do is to ask what you all think of the design. I’d really like to know if there are any usability enhancements that you think the site needs.
Thanks for all the support so far. Keep coming back and check out our sponsors.
Adios!
